The World Financial Center is a building complex across the street from the World Trade Center site. The center is home to such companies as; Merrill Lynch, the Wall Street Journal and the Dow Jones, among many others.
Designed by César Pelli, with Adamson Associates, the complex was completed by Olympia and York in 1988. Parts of the complex were heavily damaged during the 911 attacks, but have now been restored. Visitors can eat at any of the venue's over 40 restaurants, relax in the atrium, shop famous retailers, or even take in a scheduled performance in the Winter Garden.
