Description
New York is home to the United Nations, a globally renowned organization that works to promote international law, security and human rights. The iconic Secretariat building, designed by Le Corbusier, is off-limits, but visitors can access the United Nations guided tour—which covers the General Assembly Hall, the Security Council Chamber, the Trusteeship Council Chamber and the Economic & Social Council (ECOSOC) Chamber—as well as exhibits about the UN's work and artworks donated by member states. To ensure the best experience, weekday tours must be booked online in advance; please note that children under five are not admitted and that photo ID is required.
