Description
Things to do with kids at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden
As the oldest continually operating children's garden within a botanic garden in the world, The Children's Garden is an institution in its own right. It is a community garden for kids, who have the opportunity to become little gardeners.
At The Children's Garden, children learn about gardening, sustainable practices, and the environment. They plant their own crops and flowers and harvest them under the guidance of garden instructors. The gardens are open to children aged 2 to 17.
