Studio Museum of Harlem

For over four decades, this small cultural gem has served as a source of connection between Harlem and its various artistic figures. Exhibiting the work of African American artists, the museum is more than just a space to view art. Attendees can also check out film screenings, gallery talks, and other events. Unfortunately, due to extensive renovations, the museum closed its doors in January 2018 and is expected to reopen in 2021.
