The iconic Wall Street is a symbol of US capitalism, boasting the world-famous New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) inside its portentous neoclassical facade. It is estimated that about one billion shares change hands daily, though the sight is no longer publicly viewable due to security concerns. Visitors can still gawk the building from afar, as it remains protected by barricades and police. Directly across the cobblestones of Broad Street stands the renowned Fearless Girl statue by Kristen Visbal, which was moved to its current location in 2018 from its original spot outside Bowling Green.
