Description
The Lower East Side Tenement Museum offers visitors the opportunity to journey through time and access the district's rich legacy. Viewers have the privilege to explore two 19th-century tenements that remain virtually unchanged from their original state. In particular, visitors can observe the Levine family from Poland's humble home and tailoring shop, as well as two apartments from the 1873 and 1929 Great Depressions. Guided tours of the tenements are available daily with multiple times scheduled throughout the day.
