Description

Central Queens' top attraction is the 1225-acre Flushing Meadows-Corona Park, which was constructed for the 1939 World’s Fair. The park's most iconic feature is the magnificent Unisphere – the world’s biggest globe, standing 120ft high and weighing 380 tons. Facing it is the former New York City Building, now the home of the incredible Queens Museum.
