Federal Hall

A museum dedicated to postcolonial New York, Federal Hall is a Greek Revival masterpiece. The exhibits explore George Washington’s inauguration, Alexander Hamilton’s relationship with the city, and John Peter Zenger’s trial and eventual acquittal for libel after exposing government corruption in his newspaper. It also features a visitor information hall with maps and brochures for exploring the city.
